Kheer or phirni is a satiating bowl of rice or vermicelli cooked in milk, sweetened and finished with a hearty addition of nuts and dry fruits. It is known with different names in different regions. Our Bollywood diva Karisma Kapoor shared a video of a bowl full of what looked like saffron kheer topped with a generous amount of nuts. She shared a poll along with it asking her followers, ‘Kheer anyone?’ to which about 78% people said yes. And why not, just look at the kheer below!
